United Without Violence: Express Yourself!
Students in grades 4, 5 and 6 from 50 primary schools in Montréal are committed to reject violence and express themselves through the « Unité sans violence : Exprimez-vous! » (United Without Violence: Express yourself !) program. This is an original idea developed by the policing techniques students at the Cégep de Sherbrooke and also implemented in several primary schools of the regions of Estrie, Capitale-Nationale and Montérégie.

Funding for Non-Profit Organizations: Invitation to Submit New Projects - REMINDER
Following the Québec government plan on fighting street gangs (in French), the funding program to prevent youth from being recruited for the purposes of sexual exploitation in a context of street gangs is extended for a second year in 2009-2010. We invite non-profit organizations to submit project proposals until 27 November 2009.

6th edition of the Award from the Minister: Call for Nominations
The nominations received since 27 January 2009 are eligible for the award distribution in 2011. The prize of $2,000 is aimed at rewarding a bachelor or graduate student fo a master's thesis or a practicum report representing a significant contribution to the promotion of innovative ideas in the field of public security.
